Coziest Beds in Town

The Picket Range Bunk Room (bunks 1-6) is one of two coed shared bunk rooms located on the second floor of the new-and-improved North Cascades Mountain Hostel. This room sleeps up to 6 total (6 single bunks- 3 top, 3 bottom). Each person will have access to their own storage locker adjacent to their bed. This wing of the hostel has two bunk rooms that share two toilets/showers on either side of a wash room with 4 sinks/vanities. Odd numbered bunks are lower bunks whereas even numbered bunks are upper.

NOTE- When booking, select either an odd-numbered (lower) or even-numbered (top) bunk number.

Pets- Please note that, with the exception of service animals in the ADA room, pets will NOT be allowed in the private or dorm rooms in the new hostel. They are, however, still allowed in the cabins…two of which use the main hostel shared spaces. Therefore, you may encounter the occasional furry friend in the common space.

Check-in was flexible and easy.

“Much nicer than many hostels I’ve been to. Had everything all laid out for us and check-in was flexible and easy. Great space to stay and meet other people hiking in the area!”

Very Comfortable Beds!

“Very comfortable beds! Also great common spaces, cozy and comfortable. There is an easy, low key ambience, but it is also organized and clean...a great balance! Also nice social atmosphere, friendly and interesting, mix of international , pct hikers, all range of outdoor people. Great hostel!

Amazing people and accommodation

“Amazing people and accommodations! By far, the most wonderful hostel I've ever stayed in with a perfect location in the heart of Winthrop. The NCMH is the best way to start or end any adventure.”
